Savana #Mash is a 2-day event with concerts, live performances, DJ sets, screenings, and meetings about “global” sound. The festival is organised by the artistic programme S/V/N/ to investigate music, especially electronic, produced in the so-called South of the World. In an advanced post-colonial phase, the Internet allows both sounds and musicians to expand continually, moving beyond boundaries. In a landscape so fragmented, overlapping and partly chaotic, the concept of boarders fades away. Savana #Mash is ranked inside of this unstable gap and from there observes the entire globe, leading a careful selection of unedited voices, yet still representative of a widening scene to Milan.
